After all, how are you supposed to know how best to serve your audience and attract a new one if you don't know how they're reaching you, what they're doing on your site, and who they are? Google Analytics is a tool that does all of this, but despite its complexity, your account can be banned for invalid activity.

This is the only thing you should avoid as the account recovery process may take some time. With that in mind, how do you identify invalid activity ?

Ways to detect invalid Google AdSense activity

  1. Your CTR is over 20%. The normal CTR range is 1-11%, but anything above that tells Google something is fishy and might not bode well for you. So if you notice this, make the necessary changes to maintain a healthy CTR.
  2. You have a lot of clicks but no CPC. Your target CPC is currently 0.00. For example, if you get about 50 clicks and you haven't set a CPC, that tells Google something strange is going on and they won't hesitate to take action. Remember, they take these things very seriously, which is why they use human and automated reviews to analyze clicks and impressions.
  3. Her estimated salary increases and then suddenly decreases. For example, you receive an estimated profit of $1.00, but the next minute it drops to $0.0. If, after refreshing, the page drops to zero or half of what it was originally estimated to be, you know something is wrong.
  4. It has many clicks from the country but fewer page views . Google assumes that users care what they say when they click on an ad. So when there are too few page views, it sends the wrong signal to Google and makes them think something is wrong.
So remember to check your AdSense performance regularly so you can spot and fix any discrepancies as soon as possible before Google decides to suspend your account.
