Customize the scroll bar (scrollbar) with JScrollPane
JScrollPane is a jQuery script that allows you to change the scrollbar of your blog, that is to say the scrollbar of the browser.
Although we can use CSS to modify it, the problem is that it is not standardized because in Chrome and Safari we can only make it work with CSS; And it has its own code in case of Internet Explorer, but it seems to work only in this browser (don't know which versions). So we're giving the scrollbar a new look, but with jQuery so the changes are visible in all browsers.
To display
In this test blog, you can see an example where the scrollbar has a different shape and color.
1. Go to Template > Edit HTML then before Enter this code:
2. Then search for this account:
Or this line:
Add the following under one of the two.
Delete the one highlighted in red so that the top and bottom edges are visible (as in the example).
Note that the script uses jQuery. So don't reinstall the script if you already have it (the first line of code). If you're using Scriptaculous or Mootools, you'll need to make a few minor changes for this to work.
The code may seem long, but it's best to add the scripts directly to the model so that the scripts are always available and can be loaded quickly. After all, the result is beautiful, isn't it?
