How to upload an image to Blogger and get the image url

The fastest way to upload an image is in the Blogger Post Editor: Go to your blog in the Blogger Dashboard and click the New Post button. Open the post editor, go to the HTML tab and click on the image icon.


When the pop-up appears, click the "Choose File " button, find the images, double-click or click " Open " and click " Add Selected ".

After uploading the image, you will see the HTML code of the image in the post editor as shown in the screenshot below.


This code contains the URL of your image. The two display URLs (web addresses) should look like this:

The first is the URL of the image to be copied. This post does not have to be published where you uploaded the image; You can keep it as a draft or delete it. The image will still be saved to PicasaWeb (unless you have deleted the draft and selected the delete image option).

How to upload photos to Picasa and get image URLs

If you know how to upload a photo through Blogger, you can upload photos directly from Picasa:

Sign in to PicasaWeb , select the album you want to save the photo to, and click Add Photos.


Select an image from a folder on your computer and upload it.


Once downloaded, click OK . You will now see thumbnails along with other photos, if any.

To get the URL of an image from Picasa, click on the image to open it in full screen, then right-click on the image and select the following option depending on your browser:

For Google Chrome > select "Copy Image URL ":


If you are using Mozilla Firefox > select Copy image path :


For Opera > select "Copy Image URL ":


For Safari > select "Copy image address":


If you are using Internet Explorer (I hope not) > select Propiedades first, a window will open where you will find an address range where you can select an image URL. Just copy:


After selecting one of these options, the image URL will be copied to the clipboard. Just like that one!
